Our Story

Hello. I am Jenny Miller, I am the owner of Tried & True Catering By Aunt Jenny’s Kitchen, LLC as of January 2023. I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Snyder County where at an early aged learned the farm to table concept. I married my best friend, Dave Miller in 2008. We have 3 amazing children, Zackary, Chelsea and Darren. Our children can be seen out and about at our events. After working in multiple aspects of the food industry for more than 20 years my dream to bring creative food options that are flavorful and well presented became a reality. We will continue to provide you with the great homestyle favorites you know and love. We strive to treat everyone like family by providing excellent customer service, affordable options, delicious food and quality catering services to all of our clients.

Each year, we call on Tried & True to cater our Sportsman Banquet as part of our church’s outreach ministry. Year after year our numbers grow, and year after year Tried & True rise to the occasion. Even with last year’s attendance exceeding 500 people, the quality of service has never been less than exceptional. The meal is always delicious and the servers friendly, providing an overall positive experience. We will, without a doubt, continue requesting their service.

Tried and True Catering catered my wedding on May 17, 2014. I was impressed and pleased on multiple levels with their service. Regina met with us to discuss many food and service options. She is workable and agreeable in making sure your food and service is exactly what you would like it to be. My reception was in a barn and presented many difficulties in setting up a buffet line and organizing such a big meal. Regina and her staff adapted without any visible stress or worry. The presentation of the food was beautiful and exactly what I had hoped for. The food was delicious and I received a lot of compliments about the food in the weeks and months after my wedding. We were always treated with kindness and priority. I would recommend her services to anyone.

In the past Regina has helped me do a sandwich fundraiser as well as a spaghetti dinner for a friend in need. She was very well organized and knew just where to get everything we needed at a very good price. She was very easy to get along with and was open to my suggestions as well. The food was excellent! I would definitely use her services again for a fundraiser or a catering event.

For our Christmas dinner, we wanted to do something different than our usual pizza and subs. We decided to go with Tried & True Catering. Her hospitality was above and beyond. Our company has three different shifts and she made it work so every shift got warm food. In the past, third shift always had to warm up their food in the microwave, which with Tried & True Catering, they did not. At her suggestion, she said she would bring the food in the middle of the night.
